Maintenance Supervisor
What You’ll Do
- Oversight and leadership of the maintenance team
- Prioritizing, assigning, and providing quality control of work orders
- Supervising and performing high-level, technically proficient maintenance tasks
- Scheduling and overseeing vendor work
- Managing unit turnovers and make-readies for new residents
- Executing preventative maintenance plans
- Managing the maintenance budget and controlling costs
- Assisting with construction and rehabilitation projects
- Ensuring organization and cleanliness of work areas
- Participating in on-call emergency duties

What You'll Own
Oversee and lead the maintenance team, prioritize and assign work orders, supervise and perform high-level maintenance tasks, manage contracts and proposals, schedule vendor work, manage unit turnovers, execute preventative maintenance plans, manage the maintenance budget, assist with construction projects, ensure work areas are organized and clean, and participate in on-call emergency duties.
What You Bring
- A high school degree or equivalent
- A bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 2 years’ experience in a student housing or conventional multi-family apartment maintenance field
- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
- EPA Certification (Type I and II) required
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using a ladder
- Living within 30 miles of the assigned property and having reliable transportation
