Maintenance Supervisor
About the role
At Brownsburg Health Care Center, a leading skilled nursing facility in Indianapolis, we seek a dependable and knowledgeable Housekeeping & Maintenance Director.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping and facility maintenance tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Follow a daily and weekly cleaning schedule to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Support Life Safety initiatives and ensure the facility is maintained in accordance with Life Safety Code requirements (NFPA).
- Respond to emergency maintenance or cleaning needs in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and administrative staff to meet environmental and safety goals.
- Foster a positive, respectful environment with residents, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping or maintenance in a healthcare, commercial, or hospitality setting.
- MUST have working knowledge of Life Safety Code requirements and demonstrate ability to help maintain compliance.
- Skilled at basic repairs, safety inspections, and facility upkeep.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors.
