About the role
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Supervisor based in Columbia, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities
- Assign tasks and monitor staff performance
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Assist in training and development of maintenance staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance, service, or repair experience within the elevator industry required
- Must reside within a commutable distance to Columbia, South Carolina
- Previous supervisory, lead mechanic, or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of elevator systems, preventative maintenance practices, troubleshooting, repair techniques, and applicable industry standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and mechanics while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to build strong client partnerships and effectively resolve service-related concerns
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands, coordinate schedules, and respond promptly to urgent maintenance and service requests
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with customers
- Proficient in using mobile technology, work order management systems, and Microsoft Office applications is preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety requirements, and safe work practices
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel regularly to customer locations and job sites
