What You Will Do

  • Ensure a safe work environment and full compliance with company, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Lead and prioritize daily maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, and reactive) to support production needs.
  • Monitor and drive maintenance KPIs, equipment reliability, and root cause problem-solving efforts.
  • Oversee equipment repairs, outages, contractors, and vendor work execution.
  • Manage maintenance budget, CMMS compliance (SAP PM or equivalent), and spare parts availability.
  • Improve shop organization and equipment condition through 5S, CIL, and defect elimination practices.
  • Develop, coach, and manage maintenance team members, including hiring and performance management.
  • Promote adherence to company values, policies, and standards of conduct.

What We Look For

  • Typically has 3+ years related experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Must have knowledge and skills in the technologies of fasteners, lubrication, mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication, electrical power systems, electrical control systems, production/process, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and computerized maintenance management systems
  • Working knowledge of food plant production and processing equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety, EPA regulations, USDA and sanitation standards preferred
  • Must have previous supervisor experience
  • Basic PC skills including expertise with MS Office and Outlook
  • SAP experience beneficial
  • Must have basic mathematical and problem-solving skills to generate and maintain departmental reports
  • Must be capable and willing to work any shift and be on 24-hour call for emergency situations as necessary

  • The base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $113,000 annually, with eligibility for a 10 % annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $113,000 annually, with eligibility for a 10 % annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance.
