About the role

Description Colony Bay Club, located in Bonita Springs, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for part-time Maintenance Staff!

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Frequent use of hands, reaching with hands and arms, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, sitting.
• Frequent lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
• No certifications or licenses are required.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
