Maintenance Specialist - Promowest Ohio

About the role

A Maintenance Specialist at Promowest Ohio is responsible for ensuring the venue functions optimally before, during, and after events. Duties include daily and event-specific cleaning, maintenance tasks like painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, and overseeing part-time cleaners.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and event-specific cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain all facility equipment in good working condition.
• Inspect systems for malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Develop and implement standard procedures for facility upkeep.
• Assist with purchasing necessary work materials.
• Schedule and supervise part-time cleaners based on event schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors for repair and maintenance work, set-up props, and decorations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Previous supervision experience.
• Experience in cleaning solutions and repair/maintenance.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Immediate knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems – National Electrical Code a plus.

• Ability to climb, crawl, bend, and stoop with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Payscale

$15 - $20 per hour

Benefits

This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements. Part-time positions may be eligible for benefits (ACA qualification).
