Responsibilities Responsibilities: The Maintenance Specialist is a senior-level facilities professional responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving building systems and infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant healthcare facility operations. Perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and installations across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, utility, and building systems.Troubleshoot and resolve complex facility issues, including emergency repairs, to minimize operational disruptions.Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure system reliability and regulatory compliance.Maintain and support life safety, security, infection prevention, emergency power, and utility systems.Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to complete maintenance and facility improvement projects.Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, testing, and asset management records.Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance and safety support.Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, The Joint Commission, Oklahoma State Department of Health, State Fire Marshal, and other applicable regulatory requirements.Promote safe work practices, including lockout/tagout, hot work, confined space entry, and infection control procedures. Qualifications Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED.5+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
