Responsibilities
- Perform facility maintenance duties and customer interface with minimal supervision.
- Complete maintenance and cleaning tasks as outlined in checklists and directed by the facility manager/supervisor, including:
- Removing dirt, dust, litter, and debris from all facility areas using brooms, mops, brushes, and other hand tools.
- Daily garage walks to identify and correct maintenance issues.
- Sweeping and cleaning entrances, exits, stairwells, surface rails, booths, offices, and restrooms.
- Emptying trashcans throughout the garage, booth, and office.
- Paint facility areas (poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates) as directed to maintain a neat appearance.
- Replace burned-out bulbs and apply oil absorbent to spills.
- Submit repair or maintenance requests.
- Check safety items (e.g., gate arms, clearance bars) and ensure ticket spitters/gates operate correctly, including verifying ticket supply, clock accuracy, and general appearance.
- Provide ticket and gate counter records to the manager.
- Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and garage/lot sweep sheets.
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, outdoor equipment (weed eaters, lawnmowers), and electrical tools for repairs or construction.
- Shovel, plow, or blow snow from entrances, exits, and designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, or light-duty equipment.
- Report policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the facility manager promptly.
- Adhere to the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and Five Customer Service Behaviors for successful interactions.
- Assist customers within the facility or as directed by the facility manager/supervisor.
- Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
- Cover other duties (e.g., cashier, attendant) as needed.
- Maintain a neat, clean appearance and wear a complete uniform during scheduled shifts.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Availability for 3rd shift and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Facility maintenance, electrical, or painting experience/skills may be required depending on the assignment.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

- Regularly twists, turns, stretches, and bends.
- Lifts and moves 50+ pounds regularly.
- Moves quickly as required.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work with dust, chemicals, irritants, and in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat).
Pay
$23.00 per hour.
