Duties And Responsibilities
- Schedule maintenance via work orders allowing for maximum efficiency and in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Ensure quality of CMMS data.
- Affiliate in tracking, reviewing and analyzing KPI’s.
- Have knowledge of equipment and maintenance requirements.
- Adjust and improve PM’s and WO’s utilizing feedback from technicians.
- Maintain backlog with assistance from supervisors.
- Cook up the review of work backlog with production and maintenance personnel to ensure that all work is appropriately prioritized, planned, scheduled, and executed.
- Provide time, resource, and cost estimates for work to be performed.
- Support the preparation of bid documents as necessary.
- Order and kit of materials for specific jobs.
- Attend and participate in daily and weekly direction setting meetings.
- Manage scheduling system development.
- Schedule contractors as required and oversee completion of assigned contractors to meet company and department manager expectations.
- Maintain parts inventory.
- Technical School/Associate degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent experience required.
- 3-5 years maintenance experience, to include working knowledge about: 3-phase motor control and power distribution, hydraulics, PLCs, pneumatics, refrigeration, steam systems, reading and understanding machine manuals, reading schematics and blueprints, and following CMMS process and protocol.
- Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment a plus.
- Previous diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance in a GMP food and beverage facility preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Food Safety, GMP’s and a requisite HAACP program.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- AutoCAD preferred.
- Selected candidate must be willing to work any and all shifts, weekends when necessary to cover the needs of the business.
