Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Duties And Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance via work orders allowing for maximum efficiency and in compliance with all safety regulations.
• Ensure quality of CMMS data.
• Affiliate in tracking, reviewing and analyzing KPI’s.
• Have knowledge of equipment and maintenance requirements.
• Adjust and improve PM’s and WO’s utilizing feedback from technicians.
• Maintain backlog with assistance from supervisors.
• Cook up the review of work backlog with production and maintenance personnel to ensure that all work is appropriately prioritized, planned, scheduled, and executed.
• Provide time, resource, and cost estimates for work to be performed.
• Support the preparation of bid documents as necessary.
• Order and kit of materials for specific jobs.
• Attend and participate in daily and weekly direction setting meetings.
• Manage scheduling system development.
• Schedule contractors as required and oversee completion of assigned contractors to meet company and department manager expectations.
• Maintain parts inventory.

Minimum Qualifications

• Technical School/Associate degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years maintenance experience, to include working knowledge about: 3-phase motor control and power distribution, hydraulics, PLCs, pneumatics, refrigeration, steam systems, reading and understanding machine manuals, reading schematics and blueprints, and following CMMS process and protocol.
• Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment a plus.
• Previous diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance in a GMP food and beverage facility preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Food Safety, GMP’s and a requisite HAACP program.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• AutoCAD preferred.
• Selected candidate must be willing to work any and all shifts, weekends when necessary to cover the needs of the business.
