About the role
Sofidel America of Inola is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Planner local to the area for a long-term role in a stable, thriving environment. The Maintenance Planner reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and acts as a liaison between the operations and maintenance departments, responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all maintenance work within the facility. This role maintains records and files essential for meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters to the Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact and liaison between maintenance, operations, and other designated departments.
- Create maintenance schedules, maintain parts inventory, and work closely with maintenance staff, contractors, and outside vendors.
- Complete regular analysis of backlogs related to available resources to plan for short-term and long-term goals.
- Provide overall plans for supervisors to assist with pre-planning strategies for day-to-day and future work plans.
- Identify root causes and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor CMMS reports.
- Promote a safety-bound corporate culture and apply Corporate Principles and Values.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of applicable experience.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
