Responsibilities
- Develop, train and implement equipment maintenance plans for project sites including maintenance processes, data collection requirements, work order templates, reporting, maintenance tooling, spare parts lists, upkeep of equipment processes, templates, data in the ERP and CAM systems.
- Track daily efforts on work orders to ensure timelines, budgets, and labor are aligned with estimates.
- Develop and maintain an overall maintenance program for the assigned area to ensure production goals and availabilities are maintained.
- Ensure all parts and materials are ordered in a timely manner.
- Monitor year-to-date cost performance and analyze forecasted budget against actual.
- Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level.
- Manage work orders, documentation, and assets within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and/or ERP.
- Prepare forecasts of all maintenance jobs to align with Operations and Supply Chain partners.
- Maintain equipment information and repair files.
- Perform work order opening and closing for maintenance, repairs, inspections, and adjustments.
- Verify all material, information, tools, and labor are available prior to scheduling.
- Utilize priorities from Maintenance and Production Superintendents.
Requirements
- Must possess a current State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Responsible to keep work areas safe and free of hazards.
- Performs Field Level Risk Assessments.
- Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Complies with and ensures compliance with Redpath’s Policies and Procedures as detailed in the appropriate manuals, handbooks, directives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Able to work in excess of 40 hours a week, overtime, day and nights, weekends, holidays, and shift rotations.
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent.
- Prior experience with mining or similar large industry experience in planning and scheduling.
- Knowledge of the mining industry underground environment.
- Mechanical understanding of mining equipment to support effective planning.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and technical writing skills.
- Working knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing work processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
