Primary Duties And Accountabilities
- Prepare work instructions and work packages to assist the planners that provide direction to the Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance and the implementation of modifications.
- Interface with Work Management, Supply and Engineering to identify and resolve priorities and work package issues utilizing excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Define procedures, drawings, equipment and materials required to performing planned work packages.
- Conduct field walk-downs to identify and analyze corrective and preventive maintenance, modification activities.
- Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable station procedures.
- Review all required work packages and submit for approval before executing.
- Manage multiple projects, establish work priorities and achieve results.
- Assist in planned and forced outage coordination as required.
- All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2 years power plant maintenance and/or operations experience OR
- Associate's degree with 4 years power plant maintenance and/or operations experience OR
- High school diploma/GED with 6 years power plant maintenance and/or operations experience
- Maintain minimum access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
