Maintenance Person - Full Time

About the role

The Maintenance Person contributes to the hotel's commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork. This position is key to creating a welcoming, helpful, and exceptional service experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest suites, meeting spaces, and front of house areas.
• Conduct guest suite and public area entry-level preventative maintenance.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year building maintenance experience, with hotel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field.
• Schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong command of the English language, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with guest interaction.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amounts of weight (minimum of 20 lbs).
• Basic computer skills, such as Word and Excel.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
