Full Time Maintenance Worker

About the role

The Two Rivers YMCA is seeking an experienced full-time Maintenance Worker for day shift, working 35-40 hours per week. Pay starts at $16.00 per hour, potentially higher based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds including mowing, weed eating, snow removal, salting, repairs, painting, and monitoring water quality.
• Monitor and assist in maintaining energy management programs.
• Maintain the comprehensive maintenance schedule as directed.
• Keep accurate records.
• Attend staff meetings and training events.
• Maintain a professional image and interact with contractors and members.
• Set up and take down rooms for activities as directed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, and 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively.
• Mathematical skills, including the ability to apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Common sense to understand and follow instructions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Computer proficiency and basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pool chemistry knowledge.
• CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, and a valid driver's license and car insurance.
