Maintenance Operator

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, and record keeping as required.
• Carry out general and preventative maintenance duties.
• Oversee contractor activities as directed.
• Maintain production equipment based on information and/or equipment used in the course of work.
• Maintain accurate record keeping within the department.
• Review established production schedules to ensure equipment is operational.
• Handle equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain assigned warehouse areas and ensure they operate according to procedures.
• Recommend suggestions for improvement and provide solutions to problems.

Your Profile

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.
• 1 year plus work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Knowledge of welding, electrical, piping, and general construction.
