About the role

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Maintenance Worker at Sierra Sage Treatment Center in Yerington, NV, an affiliate of Rite of Passage. Our employees are dedicated and passionate individuals committed to inspiring positive change in the lives of youth.

Responsibilities

• Performs work orders such as general building maintenance, changing light bulbs, minor electrical repairs, repairing drywall, painting, sheetrock, adjusting locks and hardware, minor plumbing repairs, unplugging drains, re-lighting, maintaining smoke detectors and emergency lights, grounds maintenance, etc.
• Maintains the vehicle fleet.
• Completes required reports and documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma.
• Prior building maintenance experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record for the past (3) years.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
• Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Pay

$19.00 hourly

Schedule

Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and designated schedule with the possibility of a varied schedule and overtime.
