About the role
Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, train for meaningful careers, and assist them with obtaining employment.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and general maintenance work orders throughout the center.
- Performing interior and exterior janitorial, building maintenance, and grounds keeping assignments according to work orders.
- Performing minor building construction tasks, mowing lawns, maintaining grounds, and picking up trash and papers.
- Maintaining all tools and equipment in good repair and keeping them in appropriate storage sheds and closets.
- Transporting equipment and/or commodities throughout the center.
- Maintaining cleanliness and adherence to center standards for all equipment and facilities.
- Ensuring a work environment free of accidents and injuries, including no loss-time accidents.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- One year's related work experience is preferred.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is preferred.
- Passes a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Pay
Position Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $23.50
Schedule
Hours are flexible and depend on the needs of the facility.
