Responsibilities
- Performing scheduled compliance inspections and completing repairs as needed throughout the facility (initial assessment and troubleshooting of basic HVAC, electrical and plumbing)
- Conducting preventative maintenance activities to ensure building systems remain safe and operational
- Responding to patient-related concerns and other maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Inspecting the environment of care and identifying potential safety hazards before they become issues
- Supporting life safety initiatives, including fire boundary inspections and preventative maintenance of firefighting equipment
- Utilizing work request systems to document tasks, maintain records, and track completed work
- Coordinating and overseeing outside contractors to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with organizational standards
- Contributing to a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and team members
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital or industrial maintenance/construction
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License

Pay
$30.00 – $33.00 per hour (pay determined by education, skills, and professional experience)
