Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift (6:45PM - 7:00AM)

Week 2 (Mo, Tu, Fr, Sa)
Twelve (12) hour shifts
Night Shift 6:45pm - 7:00am
Built in overtime includes Sundays and all hours worked over 40 in each week.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit a safety conscious approach to work
• Avoid workplace hazards and report unsafe conditions
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
• Resolve issues and provide constructive feedback
• Anticipate and respond to organizational needs
• Work independently to meet production targets
• Diagnose and repair various mechanical machines and equipment
• Analyze and solve technical problems
• Complete precision tasks including welding, pipe fitting, rigging, lubrication

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• A 2-year technical/vocational degree in a related field preferred
• Four (4) years relevant professional work experience (general mechanic, pipefitter, chemical manufacturing, refinery, etc.) preferred
• Millwright and/or precision mechanic experience preferred
• General knowledge of basic electrical gear, motors, and controls
• Able to read, write, and comprehend documents in English
• Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Must be 18 years of age or older to work at Teknor Apex
