Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift (6:45PM - 7:00AM)

Week 1 (Sun, We, Th)
Week 2 (Mo, Tu, Fr, Sa)
Twelve (12) hour shifts
Night Shift 6:45pm - 7:00am
Built in overtime includes Sundays and all hours worked over 40 in each week.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit a safety conscious approach to work
• Absorb and follow all workplace policies and procedures
• Effectively communicate, share information, resolve issues, and work with others
• Proactively anticipate changes and respond to achieve organizational objectives
• Independently motivated to produce results
• Troubleshoot and maintain various mechanical machines and process equipment
• Understand and prioritize business needs
• Understand, analyze, and resolve technical problems throughout the site
• Have a strong work ethic and be self-directed
• Willing to continuously learn new skills and new technologies
• Utilize computer software programs for work related activities
• Operate a forklift, scissor lift
• Be punctual and demonstrate reliable attendance
• Complete precision work including but not limited to: Welding, Pipe Fitting, Rigging, Lubrication

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required; a 2-year technical/vocational degree in a related field is strongly preferred
• A minimum of four (4) years relevant professional work (general mechanic, pipefitter, chemical manufacturing, refinery, etc.) is preferred
• Millwright and/or precision mechanic experience is preferred
• General knowledge of basic electrical gear, motors, and controls
• Able to read, write, and comprehend documents in English is desired
