ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Takes lead in the diagnosing and repair of all assigned department equipment.
- Identify, implement, and exercise independent judgment within established guidelines for PMs and determining course of action needed when on shift issues arise effecting production operations or the safety of the facility and assigned equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshooting furnace operations through Siemens PLC.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing/production environment in a technical role.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing semi or fully automated equipment.
- Ability to observe, analyze, interpret situations, and solve problems with mechanical and electrical equipment/machinery.
- Knowledge and experience troubleshooting production running Siemens PLC hardware and software.
- Able to fully utilize a digital multimeter (DMM) for troubleshooting.
- Some technical training or coursework in industrial equipment engineering and troubleshooting through technical school or trade experience is highly desired.
Schedule & Shift Information
- Training Schedule: Monday-Friday (Approx. 2–3 Months)
- Permanent Schedule: preference given to candidates able to work grave or swing shift
- Shifts: Day Shift, Swing Shift ($1.00 shift differential), Graveyard Shift ($1.25 shift differential)
Compensation & Benefits
- $30–$38 per hour

- PTO: 40 hours of Sick time, 80 hours of PTO, and 80 hours of (designated) holiday pay. Five weeks total. (After 5 years of service, PTO increases from 80 hours to 120 hours.)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting
- Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Exposure to heat, moving machinery, electrical systems, fumes, and industrial materials
- Use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, bump caps, steel-toe boots, gloves, respirators, and arc flash equipment
- Candidates must be able to safely work around industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
Additional Requirements
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under EAR and ITAR regulations
