About the role

This is a full time Nights position with the hours of 11:00 to 7:30 AM M-F and Rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of hospital equipment and building components.
  • Diagnose problems, offer solutions, and act to ensure the safety, care, and comfort of staff and patients.
  • Perform a variety of skilled maintenance, including:
    • Repairs to machinery, equipment or facilities
    • Preventive maintenance on hospital and plant equipment
    • Execute miscellaneous work orders and answer trouble calls
    • Accurately document and maintain records for the facility
    • Perform routine electrical, plumbing and HVAC maintenance
    • Assist in ordering parts and supplies needed for maintenance

Requirements

  • Experience: 5 years experience in a large commercial industrial or health care facility as an electrician, HVAC and Plant Operator, or plumber with general and structural maintenance, modification, renovation and interior construction
  • Previous experience in general maintenance in a hospital or similar institution – preferred
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Technical, Vocational or other equivalent education – preferred
  • Certifications: Licensed or certified in HVAC, Electrical, Plant Operations or Maintenance field – preferred
