Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

The Maintenance Mechanic position at International Paper provides mechanical support to maintain equipment throughout the facility, including troubleshooting, repairs, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance. This role requires a combination of hands-on mechanical skills and the ability to follow safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical support to maintain equipment throughout the facility, including troubleshooting, repairs, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance.
• Follow safe working practices and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, pushing, pulling, stretching as needed to reach, clean and service equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to follow safe working practices.
• 2-years mechanical/hands-on related work experience.
• Self-motivated.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatics, pumps, and rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Capable of performing physical tasks such as bending, pushing, pulling, stretching as needed to reach, clean and service equipment.

Up to $37.75/hr.
