Maintenance Mechanic

About the role
H.B. Fuller is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical issues, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to minimize downtime and maintain production quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations efficiently.
- Inspect equipment and document maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
- Support installation and startup of new equipment.
- Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and troubleshooting documentation.
- Proficiency using standard maintenance tools and equipment.
- Authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Technical degree or vocational training in a maintenance-related field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Certification in industrial maintenance, welding, or related discipline.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting or automated production systems.
Pay
The salary for this role is $28.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience.
