About the Role
The DSC Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the safe operating condition of our Fredericksburg Distribution Center. The technician must be a self-directed individual with proven knowledge of electrical systems installation and repair. This role involves contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, and finished merchandise.
Schedule
- 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Shift Differential: $1.00/Hour
Responsibilities
- HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
- Robot maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, including forklifts, hi-lifts, order pickers, wrappers, vacu-hoists, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned
- Perform carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, and plumbing tasks as needed
- Maintain and repair DSC systems, including fire and security systems (e.g., security gates and systems)
- Maintenance on dock doors and dock plates
- Monitoring and maintenance of building and grounds as needed (including snow removal)
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have two (2) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Must have one (1) year of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- Industrial, electrical, and/or welding certification or license
- Formal training in or one (1) year of work experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)

Pay
Compensation decisions are dependent on factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. The wage range for this role is provided considering these factors, though the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location.
This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
