Role Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot/problem solve utilizing advanced mechanical, electrical, PLC diagnostic techniques and equipment.
- Apply documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
- Aids in the development and implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance programs on all equipment.
- Monitor, analyze, diagnose, and fine tune/repair machine problems, Mechanical/Electrical (Power, Digital, analog), test and evaluate equipment performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, electrical & pneumatic schematic diagrams, and complex equipment manuals.
- Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office tools); Familiar with CMMS program; Able to Utilize computers/software in the process of diagnostic work.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner, to include records on all maintenance performed according to SOP’s, logbooks, work orders, etc.
- Identify and/or correct issues independently without supervision.
- Set up, tear down, and change-over all production machinery, as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Assist Engineers with projects, processes, and documentation of new procedures and machine changes or additions.
- Assist in developing solutions with and for other departments.
- Must be able to operate any/all assigned machines and/or equipment and perform duties in an aseptic environment following GMP.
- Train colleagues to enhance skills and capability for new or existing equipment, processes, procedures, or techniques; Assist with training production operators to perform, and assist with, set up and operation of equipment.
- Perform appropriate housekeeping duties per SOP’s.
- Support and participate in the Company’s management and quality system including continuous improvement efforts and Quality management.
Qualifications
- High School diploma / general education degree (GED) and a technical certificate.
- 2+ years related experience.
- Must have specialization in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Technologies, Industrial Technology, Welding, Machine Shop, and/or Control Systems technology.
- Applicable college degree may be accepted in lieu of experience.
- Have ability to wear a respirator.
- Must be able to be gown qualified to enter the Aseptic area.
- All applicants are required to pass a math and reading comprehension test along with Standard Timing Model test prior to being offered the position.
