Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd shift

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring all plant equipment, machinery, and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and according to requirements. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and construction of mechanical systems to support the production of flight-critical products.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment, machinery, and facilities
• Carry out repairs to mechanical systems as needed
• Construct new mechanical systems as required
• Ensure all operations comply with safety and efficiency standards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related experience in a maintenance or repair role
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree in a relevant field
• Experience working in a heavy industrial environment
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures

• Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel
• Frequent reaching with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Regular exposure to a heavy industrial environment, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions
• Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
• Occasional exposure to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration
