Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

About the role

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility. The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment and mechanical issues.
• Install, repair, and/or fabricate new equipment and components as needed.
• Supporting the Tier 1 & 2 operational processes through completion of action cards and rapid response activities.
• Support physical transformation and continuous improvement (GDP) initiatives throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
