Maintenance Mechanic - 1st Shift (7:00AM - 3:30pm)

Responsibilities

• Effectively maintain production and facilities equipment.
• Achieve design efficiency and throughput.
• Ensure equipment operates at design efficiency and throughput.
• Perform hands-on mechanical work including machining using vertical mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
• Show basic understanding of systems, print reading, layout, bearing failure, and mechanical drives.
• Maintain shop, equipment, and tools to ensure they are safe to use.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and secure them.
• Be available for on-call and work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mechanical systems.
• 3 - 5 years practical experience in a related field.
• Computer skills required.
• High school diploma or GED.
