Maintenance Electrician - 1st shift (7:00AM - 3:00PM)

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC issues on machinery
• Perform emergency and general maintenance activities, including weekend and off-shift work
• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify HMIs, PLCs, and VMDs
• Participate in project installation activities as assigned by the Process Engineer
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components to avoid production delays
• Ensure adherence to company safety procedures
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for critical spare parts, identifying gaps
• Participate in all plant safety initiatives
• Prioritize and repair safety-related issues as defined by the safety committee and/or STOP Card program
• Complete computer-based training monthly or as assigned
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and rules
• Communicate issues and solutions effectively to cross-functional stakeholders
• Consult and collaborate regularly with all functional teams in the facility
• Read instructions, one-line diagrams, ladder logic, and manuals; use meters, hand tools, and shop equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician License
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with HMI equipment preferred (company will provide training)
• Allen Bradley PLC experience preferred (company will provide training)
• Heavy industry experience with electrical systems and production equipment
• Two or more years of experience in electrical maintenance
• Proficiency in preventative maintenance systems is a plus
• Ability to work long or odd hours on your feet and lift 50+ pounds
