Maintenance Mechanic 1 (1st Shift 6AM- 2PM)

About the role

The role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting basic mechanical issues, documenting maintenance activities, and assisting senior technicians in complex projects. Responsibilities

• Conduct Routine Maintenance: Performs basic maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery following standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: Identifies and resolves straightforward mechanical problems using established methods and tools.
• Maintain Maintenance Records: Documents maintenance activities and updates logs to ensure accurate tracking of work performed.
• Aid Senior Technicians: Supports experienced mechanics by providing assistance during complex maintenance and repair projects.
• Ensure Safety Compliance: Follows safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment during all maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Mechanical Aptitude: Proficient in operating and maintaining machinery and equipment according to standard procedures.
• Preventive Maintenance: Skilled in performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
• Troubleshooting: Capable of identifying and resolving straightforward mechanical issues using established guidelines.
• Technical Documentation: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics effectively.
• Safety Compliance: Knowledgeable in adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Team Collaboration: Effectively communicates and collaborates with team members to achieve maintenance objectives.
• Operational Procedures: Familiarity with standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks and equipment handling.
• Tool Handling: Proficient in using hand and power tools required for maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent
• 1+ years of Manufacturing Mechanical Maintenance

Estimated hourly base pay: $26.00+ (DOE)
