Maintenance Manager - Lone Oak Manor

Duties

• Patch and paint walls, trim, and ceilings.
• Clean, repair, and maintain appliances.
• Prepare units for new residents, including completing necessary turnover work.
• Perform routine plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance functions.
• Afford maintenance budget oversight.
• Coordinate and manage vendor contracts in collaboration with the property management team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical expertise in one or more building trade.

Qualifications

• Preferred technical certifications.
• Knowledge and skills to comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to define and solve problems.
• Ability to present information to groups of people.
• Basic math skills and understanding of measurement systems used in the trade.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, plumbing, and mechanical diagrams and blueprints.
• Ability to draft and make working sketches.
• Ability to use maintenance, trade, and testing equipment and tools.
• Ability to effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractors.

Pay

$25-27/hour, dependent on experience.
