Maintenance Manager

About the role

This position is responsible for managing I/E and Mechanical Maintenance services to the company's respective generating facilities to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation in order to meet system generation requirements in the most cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct maintenance activities which provide for a safe, accident-free workplace.
• Lead and direct all operational activities in a manner that supports a commitment to customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or technical knowledge that would be equivalent to two years of technical training beyond high school.
• Job-related experience of 12 years or more in Wholesale Electric.
• A thorough knowledge of generating plant equipment and maintenance processes.

• Team builder and coach; motivator and energizer; ability to provide candid and constructive feedback;
• Written and communication skills;
• Knowledge of basic computer skills;
• Capable of establishing goals and objectives to support strategic initiatives;
• Able to cope with and implement change;
• Knowledge of power generation equipment and procedures.
