Maintenance Manager, DOT Shuttle Operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations for a DOT shuttle operation.
• Work with the on-site manager to prepare maintenance and cleaning schedules; assign, perform, and supervise work.
• Oversee daily functions of maintenance staff to ensure quality and timely completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
• Conduct daily inspections on cleaning, maintenance, and repair projects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks, including power washing, slurry sealing, restriping, sweeping, and commercial painting.

Requirements

• Prior progressive supervisory or management experience in a transportation environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver’s License (with Passenger Endorsement if operating shuttle buses with 15+ passengers).
• DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate) required.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends, depending on location needs.
• Prior experience ensuring compliance with federal (EPA Clean Water Act of 1977) and local water pollution regulations preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

$95,000–$100,000 per year
