Maintenance Manager
Direct Supervision/Management
Supervise all maintenance personnel, including hourly employees.
Problem Solving and Decision Making
Assist maintenance personnel in solving maintenance related problems and/or new projects, making decisions with senior management regarding production interruptions.
Equipment Performance Improvement
Analyze equipment downtime, recommend corrective actions, and implement preventative maintenance programs to meet customer, government, safety, and quality requirements.
Training and Development
Coordinate and participate in maintenance personnel training to ensure compliance with changing technologies, customer, government, health and safety requirements.
Performance Management
Conduct monthly performance appraisals and reviews with maintenance personnel.
Budgeting and Cost Reduction
Prepare and adhere to a departmental operating annual budget, seeking and implementing cost reduction measures.
Team Participation and Continuous Improvement
Participate in employee involvement teams and continuous improvement initiatives, providing expert advice to management.
Customer Service
Handle customer concerns during shift duty, documenting issues and notifying relevant managers.
Interviews and Onboarding
Conduct interviews during hiring processes and ensure new employees receive orientation.
Compliance and Standards
Ensure maintenance personnel comply with all health and safety rules and housekeeping principles, and follow ISO14001 and IATF16949 standards.
Learning and Growth
Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities to learn and adopt new technologies and principles.
