Responsibilities
- Manages associates responsible for general operating maintenance and repair.
- Supervises community maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry staff.
- Directs workers engaged in maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds.
- Inspects completed work for conformance to standards and policies.
- Coordinates maintenance requests by residents.
- Oversees repairs and maintenance of buildings, including vacated rooms.
- Maintains positive communication with local authorities.
- Assesses plumbing and electrical problems and determines appropriate actions.
- Works within legal scope of local and state codes.
- Reviews safety data sheets (SDS).
- Responds to resident or community emergencies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid State Driver’s License required for vehicle travel, as needed.
