About the role
The role involves performing various maintenance tasks in a manufacturing facility, including but not limited to repairing equipment, cleaning machinery, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on production equipment
- Clean and maintain machinery and work areas
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulations
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with basic electrical systems
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
