About the role

The Maintenance Lead Person, Garage, AM position at Publix Super Markets, Inc., oversees the maintenance activities within the garage area to ensure all equipment and facilities are in optimal working condition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks to keep the garage area operational and safe.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule and manage repairs and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Document all maintenance activities and report findings to management.
• Train and mentor less experienced staff on maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Proficient in using various maintenance tools and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
