About the role
The Maintenance III teammate is an advanced mechanic who performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electromechanical systems as well as general building maintenance support in the distribution center environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, dock doors, air systems, racking, CCTV, and interconnectivity cabling (PC/PLC/Server).
- Use PLC and online applications to analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot automation malfunctions.
- Develop approved system modifications and procure resources needed to complete modifications.
- Weld and fabricate as required.
- Research parts, tools, and technology.
- Train lower grade mechanics.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Relevant technical degree OR other professional training.
- At least 5 years of professional industrial maintenance experience.
- At least 4 years of conveyor and automatic sortation maintenance experience.
- HVAC and welding certifications.
- Read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Experience with 480V/3-phase industrial equipment and controls.
- Knowledge of PLC and computerized controlled automated systems, equipment, and functions.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Basic computer skills as well as experience using a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.

Pay
$27.00 to $35.00 per hour.
