Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of spare parts, inventory, and work orders according to Company policy.
• Maximize battery availability by managing charging cycles and battery rotation.
• Perform inspections, cleaning, and specific gravity checks; repair cable damage.
• Develop knowledge of the required aspects of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Recommend necessary repairs or replacements to management.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment condition and maintenance performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Professional experience in industrial maintenance is a plus.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience with material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.
• The ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Experience with distribution center industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.
• The ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
