Maintenance I

Responsibilities
- Carry out specific assignments as directed by the Maintenance Work Order System.
- Document and update all maintenance work orders completed in the Maintenance Work Order System.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to assure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
- Perform all duties in compliance with facility policies, rules, and regulations on safety, conduct, and housekeeping.
- Protect the Company’s investments in machinery, equipment, and facilities by exercising care, skill, and knowledge.
- Make required alterations or modifications to equipment and systems.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining maintenance standards and procedures.
- Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area in compliance with 5-Pillar Standards.
- Partner with facility leadership, engineering, and employees to develop, execute, and maintain productivity and process improvements.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required; technical degree in mechanical maintenance preferred.
- 2-4 years of previous maintenance experience.
- Metal working experience is required (including welding and fabrication skills).
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and tooling prints.
- Knowledge of OSHA/safety guidelines, procedures, and policies related to maintenance and repair (such as Lock Out/Tag Out, OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour training).
- Availability and willingness to work overtime as required; "on-call" duty is required.
- Ability to work well with little supervision.
- EAM experience and computer skills.

Working Conditions
- Fast-paced environment.
- Occasional weekend and holiday work required.
- 3rd shift schedule.
Pay
Base pay range: $24.84 - $29.68 per hour.
