About the role
Lead a maintenance team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, focusing on reducing downtime, enhancing equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Support production by ensuring equipment uptime and operational efficiency
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, staffing, and daily priorities
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and KPI tracking
Requirements
- 3+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing
- 1–2+ years supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with PLCs, robotics, or automated systems
- Automotive manufacturing background
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Toyota Production System (TPS)
