Maintenance Group Leader - 3rd Shift

About the role

Lead a maintenance team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, focusing on reducing downtime, enhancing equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Support production by ensuring equipment uptime and operational efficiency
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, staffing, and daily priorities
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and KPI tracking

Requirements

• 3+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing
• 1–2+ years supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with PLCs, robotics, or automated systems
• Automotive manufacturing background
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Toyota Production System (TPS)
