Maintenance/Groundskeeper

About the role

Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization serving Western Pennsylvania for over 100 years, helping individuals and families with life's changing needs. This position is responsible for providing building maintenance, custodial, and grounds keeping services to ensure buildings and grounds are clean and in working condition.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm with weekends off.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive building and equipment maintenance
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical work, and welding tasks
• Maintain refrigeration, air conditioning, and boiler systems
• Keep buildings and grounds clean and in working order

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience with building and equipment maintenance
• Ability to read and write
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Building Maintenance Certification
