About the role

This position involves assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in supervising employees to ensure acceptable productivity and job performance. It also includes determining priorities, assigning work, providing direction and support to the maintenance team, following up on job completion, identifying safety and regulatory concerns, promoting best practices related to food safety, initiating orders for parts/materials, maintaining open communication, and performing other maintenance-related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Determines priorities, assigns work, and provides direction and support to maintenance team members.
• Provides follow-up on job completion to review job performance and work quality.
• Identifies any safety/regulatory concerns and applicable procedures or safeguards that must be followed.
• Follows and promotes best practices related to food safety policies and procedures.
• As needed, initiates orders for parts/materials and provides follow-up.
