General Maintenance- Lead

Responsibilities

• Work at the core of maintaining and enhancing the hotel's physical infrastructure
• Supervise and direct maintenance engineers
• Coordinate work orders and manage repair assignments
• Conduct room inspections
• Repair or install wall coverings including sheetrock, and paint designated areas
• Install and replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs, and repair furniture
• Program televisions
• Perform electrical repairs and maintenance
• Handle plumbing tasks including repair and preventive maintenance of heating and cooling pumps
• Document maintenance activities meticulously
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal regulations
• Step in as a bell attendant during peak times or staffing
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Adapt to varying shifts and physical demands

Requirements

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule during the week, including weekends and holidays
• Shift is from 7:00am- 3:30pm
• Experience with facilities management software is preferred
• 2-3 years of building maintenance experience preferred
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others
• Detail-oriented
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift, push and pull a moderate amount of weight
• Able to work a flexible schedule through the week

About the Role

The Maintenance Engineer Lead reports to the Assistant Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering. You'll play a large part in the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure guests have an excellent experience at our property.

Qualifications

• Experience with facilities management software is preferred
• 2-3 years of building maintenance experience preferred
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others
