Maintenance Generalist (All Shifts) Humboldt Plant

Tasks

• Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
• Learn and use Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out daily documentation.
• Communicate effectively with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel, and drivers.
• Use math to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
• Lift and move up to 125 pounds periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis.
• Work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
• Complete all required training for the job.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate and/or student of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).
• Knowledge in industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, plumbing, and welding.
• Experience or certification in the operation of PLC’s is a plus.
• A strong electronic skill set is a must.
