What Sets You Apart
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Steel industry and material-handling experience — a must for success in this environment.
- Prior supervisory experience leading technical or maintenance teams.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with real-world troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with all levels of the organization.
- Project management abilities to lead improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.
- Analytical thinking, including comfort using data and statistical techniques to make decisions.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- A willingness to participate in an on-call rotation to support plant operations.
