Maintenance General Specialist

Basic Qualifications

• Must hold an active TS-SCI w/polygraph security clearance
• 3+ years of related experience
• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical/HVAC, and hand and power tools
• Must be a United States citizen
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to lift 25lbs
• Able to work after-hours/overtime as needed

THE WORK

Responsibilities

• Escort contractors throughout all buildings to complete various tasks and projects
• Perform facilities maintenance including walls repairs/paint, plumbing repairs, light fixture repairs and bulb replacement, and general carpentry
• Communicate the status of major repairs to the Facilities Manager
• Utilize the Lockheed Martin vehicle to deliver material, packages, and equipment
• Respond to after-hours facilities related emergencies
• Work flexible hours as required by the customer, including weekends and holidays when applicable
• Work overtime as required for extended tasks and projects
• Perform janitorial and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Aid with groundskeeping duties, including maintaining exterior areas and performing snow and ice removal from sidewalks and walkways
