Salary: $140,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually

About the role

Our client is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Manager for their industrial manufacturing center in the Millington, TN area. This role provides overall direction and guidance to 5 Technicians engaged in maintaining plant equipment, machinery, and building facilities in a safe and cost-effective manner. The Manager will set and perform preventative maintenance schedules, respond to and analyze machine problems, and prioritize daily tasks to minimize plant downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze severity of maintenance problems and prioritize daily emergencies to minimize plant downtime and maximize productivity.
• Assign and instruct subordinates on respective and desired repairs.
• Set preventative maintenance schedules and monitor all repairs for quality, method of repair, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform basic plant and field engineering for equipment design, fabrication, and installation.
• Inspect repairs for structural soundness, possible methods to improve operations, and cost-effectiveness.
• Furnish blueprints, sketches, and drawings with correct data and dimensions for plant modifications, new installations, and current applications for present and future reference.
• Locate and purchase necessary materials for maintenance repairs.
• Know budgetary figures for electrical and mechanical projects and adhere to projected costs.
• Track purchases from initiation through delivery/storage, use or installation, and payment approval.
• Generate and track paperwork for all electrical and mechanical items purchased and maintain a filing system containing equipment history and documentation of all purchased items.
• Ensure a safe working environment for plant maintenance employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Schedule equipment and facility shutdowns with the production department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Trade School and/or Certifications (e.g., CMRP, CRL) preferred.
• 5+ years of Maintenance/Reliability Leadership Experience in Manufacturing; industrial experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a team-first focus.
• Ability to manage a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Pay

$140,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually
