Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary first responder for maintenance requests across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring timely and professional service.
- Perform advanced preventative maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical systems, and general building trades.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including motors, laundry machines, and commercial kitchen equipment, replacing worn or defective components as needed.
- Lead and oversee maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry projects, providing updates and progress reports to leadership.
- Design, build, and repair structural elements such as cabinetry, furniture, doors, walls, and trim throughout the property.
- Respond to guest and staff service calls, completing repairs for items such as Wi-Fi, televisions, phones, locks, and safes while maintaining high service standards.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of specialized experience in facilities, engineering, or a related field, with advanced technical knowledge.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree or specialized training in a relevant field preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and OSHA regulations, with the ability to perform complex tasks requiring sustained focus and problem-solving.
- Prioritize troubleshooting, analyzing complex issues, and managing time effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physically capable of working in varied environments, lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Maintain flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings, while collaborating effectively with teams and working independently.

Pay
The pay rate for this position starts at $40.00/hour. The wage for this role may take into account factors for compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure or certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
